- Durata: la percezione di alcuni atleti che hanno corso con delle React indossate per almeno 800 chilometri è stata incredibile: qualcuno pensava addirittura che le scarpe fossero nuove!;
- Reattività : 13% più elastica rispetto alle LunarEpic Low Flyknit 2.

Did you ever wonder if it is possible to have a soft but reactive, light but lasting pair of shoes?
Nike gots the solution with the new NIKE EPIC REACT FLYKNIT.
You need to know just four words:
- Lightness:Â 5% lighter than LunarEpic Low Flyknit 2;
- Cushioning:Â 11% softer than LunarEpic Low Flyknit 2;
- Endurance: athletes’ opinion who tried React shoes with at least 800 km was incredible: some of them thought the shoes on their feet were new;
- Reactivity:Â 13% more resilient than LunarEpic Low Flyknit 2.
La tomaia è molto semplice e composta da un pezzo unico di Flyknit (senza cuciture). Rimane comunque molto avvolgente, dando la giusta stabilità al piede.
La vera e propria novità è il tutt’uno dell’intersuola con la suola. L’unica divisione la noterete infatti solo sull’avampiede e il tallone, dove sono stati posizionati due inserti in gomma per garantire più attrito. Tutto questo è stato possibile grazie all’ideazione di una nuova schiuma, la NIKE REACT appunto, costruita appositamente sullo studio della biomeccanica di corsa degli atleti. Sulla base dei dati raccolti, Nike è riuscita a eliminare i sostegni superflui, rendendo così la scarpa più pulita e leggera. La morbidezza della miscela ammortizza molto più efficacemente le asperità del terreno. Per aumentare la stabilità , l’intersuola è stata appositamente realizzata più larga rispetto alla tomaia, in modo tale da aumentare la base di appoggio.
The upper is simple and made with just one piece of Flynit (seamless). Anyway it wraps perfectly the foot, keeping the support.
The real new entry is the union between the midsole and the sole. Just two gum inserts under the forefoot and the calcaneus divide them in order to increase the friction with the floor.
All of this was possible thanks to the invention of a new foam called NIKE REACT. Basing on data recollected from professional athletes, Nike took away from the midsole all the superficial inserts, keeping just the basic ones. To increase stability, the midsole was built appositively wider that the upper.
Il drop è di 9 mm e il peso è di 272 grammi (taglia 10 US da uomo).
È una scarpa neutra ma che riesce a dare un adeguato sostegno ai pronatori che hanno una discreta tecnica di corsa.
Data la sua elevata reattività e basso peso,la consiglio ai runner leggeri da utilizzare per le gare e gli allenamenti sulle ripetute.
Vietato non fare il PB con queste scarpe ai piedi!

It is a neutral model but useful for pronators with a discrete running technique too.
As its lightness and reactivity, I suggest them to light runners in prevision of a competitions or workouts.
